Rules of Play
- All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Funky Warehouse Limited does not accept any responsibility for the supervision of any children.
- We are sorry but prams/ push chairs are not allowed in the play-centre but can be parked in our pram park.
- All children should use the hand sanitizer to wash their hands prior to entering the equipment
- All jewellery must be removed prior to entering the equipment.
- Shoes must be removed and Funky Warehouse socks must be worn at all times.
- Age restrictions apply to the use of the baby area; these are for the safety of all users of Funky Warehouse Soft Play.
- Play is restricted to 1 hour at busy times.
- We recommend long sleeves and trousers, and tucked in. Clothes made from man-made fibres are not recommended.
- Items of clothing with cords or rope should not be worn whilst using the play areas.
- For your own safety please do not play in front of any of the slides.
- No sharp objects or toys are allowed to be taken into the play areas.
- It is forbidden to climb on the netted walls or the structure system or outside of the tube slide.
- No food or drink or sweets allowed in the play structure.
- No smoking or playing with fire anywhere within Funky Warehouse.
- We do not recommend that children who are feeling unwell use the play equipment at any time.
- Do not use the play equipment if wearing any form of plaster cast.
- Balls should not be thrown at other people.
- No fighting or bullying will be tolerated (parents/carers are responsible for the children in their care and are asked to enforce this rule). No running.
- In the interest of health and safety please ensure any food debris that falls to the floor gets picked /wiped up as soon as possible (please report any spillages to a member of staff, they will be happy to clean up the area.
- Please report all incident /accidents straight away to a member of staff, to ensure that we can provide any necessary assistance and minimise any future reoccurrence. These will be logged and also play an important role in our ongoing commitment to you and your childs safe playing environment.
- Report any damages, even if accidental, to a member of staff.
- We provide a baby changing area, please use the bins provided for nappies.
- For health and safety reasons only food and drink bought at Funky Warehouse may be consumed here, except for baby milk.
- Parents/guardians must always accompany children to the toilets.
- Shoes must be worn when visiting the toilets.
- Report any unacceptable behaviour to a member of staff.
- This structure, play equipment and setting is inspected regularly to provide a safe environment for your child and you – but this is not a substitute for parental supervision.
Parents /Guardians please note whilst we have taken every consideration for the safety of children using the play-centre, Funky Warehouse Limited cannot be held responsible for any accident which occur as a result of children playing on the equipment.

Important information – Trampoline Rules
The activities provided can be great fun but can also be dangerous. There is risk of serious injury if care is not take when using the activity equipment. Use of the activity equipment is physically demanding and involves jumping, physical strength and other strenuous actions involving height, speed, and unpredictable surfaces. Use of the activity equipment is high-impact, full body activity which requires intense focus, awareness of your body’s’ limitations, awareness of the environment around you and extreme caution at all times.
The activities provided are not segregated for use solely by children. The activities are used by multiple age groups including adults at the same time as children are not restricted to any one age group. If you allow children in your care to participate unaccompanied on the activities, please ensure you assess the suitability of the activities for younger children. Please also be aware that certain activities are age or ability restricted and you should ensure children in your care are advised accordingly.
The activities include trampoline courts made up of interconnected trampolines that are not enclosed and are without segregation or barriers to allow for the free movement around the court between trampolines.
Park Rules
- Only participate if you are in good physical condition
- Do not participate if you have any pre existing medical conditions including breathing, heart, neck, back, bone or muscle conditions
- Do not participate if you are or may be pregnant
- Do not attempt to use any of the activity equipment unless you have registered to participate, undertaken the safety briefing & signed a waiver (if you are under 18 a waiver must be signed by a parent or guardian)
- Before participating loosen up with warm up exercises and stretches
- If you get tired please leave the activity equipment and take a break
- Always remain in control – Be aware of ow to bend your knees to control or stop your bounce.
- Practice first before moving across the arena
- Always plan your landings before jumping
- Always jump and land in the centre of the trampolines
- Never jump on or near to coloured pads
- Do not exit the trampolines by ‘bouncing’ off onto the surrounding walkways
- Always jump so you land on both feet at the same time. Never land with just one foot
- Know your limits – Do not attempt any move beyond your own skill level
- Never attempt flips or other extreme moves unless you are capable
- Do not jump or flip over other participants
- No double bouncing! (There should never be two people on one trampoline at the same time)
- Strictly only one person per trampoline at any one time
- Do not jump or step onto a trampoline unless the trampoline is clear
- Look out for other participants and give way to smaller ones
- Never run across the trampolines
- No diving, no backflips, No gainers (forward moving backflips)
- No wrestling, tackling, pushing, or shoving
- No climbing the trampolines or the padding
- No leaning, grabbing, or climbing the netting
- No sitting or lying on the trampolines, padding or activity equipment
- Remove all items from your pockets prior to participating
- All jewellery, watches, keys, keychains, coins or the alike to be removed prior to participating
- Clothing should not have any hard or sharp points (such as buckles, studs, toggles)
- No phones or cameras on the activity equipment
- No food, drink, sweets, or chewing gum whilst participating
- Do not leave clothing on the activity equipment, use the lockers provided
- Funky warehouse anti-slip socks must be worn at all times
- We recommend that participants wear long sleeves and trousers
- Long hair should be tied back
- No jumping under influence of alcohol or drugs
- Always follow the marshal’s instructions. Dangerous behaviour will not be tolerated, and you could be asked to leave
- Maximum weight restriction is 120kg
- We do not provide or accept responsibility for the supervision of children. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times
- Under 5’s not permitted unless accompanied on the activities by a parent or guardian or it is a closed/segregated toddler session
- Additional rules apply to additional activities – please ensure you familiarise yourself with the activity rules prior to use
Ninja obstacle course rules
The activity can be great fun, but it can also be dangerous. There is risk of serious injury if care is not taken while using the equipment. Using this equipment is physically demanding and includes strenuous actinons involving physical strength, height, speed, and unpredictable surfaces. Use of this equipment is high-impact, full body activity which requires intense focus, awareness of your body’s strengths and limitations, awareness of the environment around you and extreme caution at all times
- Standard Park Rules apply
- Participants must be over 5 years of age unless accompanied by an adult
- Maximum weight restrictions 120kg
- Take extra care – activities in this area provide superior height & a greater degree of difficulty & risk
- Know your limits. Do not attempt to participate unless you have the skills or required level
- If you cannot comfortably reach any of the equipment unassisted it is not suitable for your use. Do not attempt the activity
- Be aware this activity can be tough on your hands as it involves climbing and rope-based activities
- Stand back from the equipment while waiting your turn
- Do not go until the path is clear
- When the participant in front of you has completed you can move onto the obstacle
- Keep your distance away from other participants. Be aware they may attempt a manoeuvre
- No running and jumping onto the equipment
- Descend either by down-climbing or a controlled jump
- Always remain in control. Be aware of how to bend your knees to control your landing
- Do not hang upside down on the equipment
- Do not climb on top of the money bars
- No leaning, grabbing, or climbing on the trusses/framework or padding
- Do not swing the activity equipment into the path of or into other people
- No swinging from the framework
- No sitting or lying on the equipment
- We recommend that participants wear long sleeve and trousers to avoid friction burns
- Long hair should be tied back
- Do not go until the foam pit / airbag is clear
- Only ever jump/swing/drop into the foam pit / airbag feet first
- Land on your back or bottom
- Do not land or dive headfirst into the foam pit / airbag
- Do not land on your knees in the foam pit
- Do not ‘tuck your knees up’ or ‘curl up’ as this could cause your knees to hit you face while landing
- Exit the foam pit as quickly as possible by the nearest exit point
- Do not bury yourself or others into the pit
- Do not remove or throw the foam blocks
Important information – Soft Play Rules
- Please ensure all adults in your group are aware of the rules of play
- We do not provide or accept responsibility for the supervision of children on the premises
- Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times
- Parents or guardians are responsible for assessing the suitability of the equipment provided for children in their care and the ability of those children to use it
- Adults are not permitted to play on the equipment
- Adults are permitted onto the play equipment for sole purpose of accompanying children in their care only
- Only one person per slide lane at any one time
- Ensure the person in front has cleared the bottom of the slide before descending
- When descending on the slides do so in a sitting position with arms crossed
- Do not stand, climb, run, walk, or stop midway down on the slides
- We recommend that children wear long sleeves and trousers to avoid friction burns
- Do not climb onto the netting or play frame
- Balls must not be removed from the play areas
- Balls or other objects must not be thrown
- Shoes must be removed before using the play equipment
- Socks must be worn at all times
- Clothing with ropes cords and toggles must not be worn in the play areas
- All jewellery (including ear studs) / watches, keys, keychains, coins, and sharp objects including badges or alike to be removed before entering the play area
- Clothing should not have any hard or sharp points (buckles, studs, toggles or the alike)
- Remove all items from your pockets
- No phones or cameras on the play equipment
- No toys to be taken into the play area
- No food, drinks, sweets, or chewing gum is allowed on any of the play equipment
- Do not use any of the play equipment if wearing any form of plaster cast
- Any damage to the play equipment must be reported to a member of staff whether deliberate or accidental
- Report any accident or injury to a member of staff to be recorded in our accident book
- Children who are unwell should not use our play equipment
- No running
- No wrestling, tackling, or shoving
- Parents/guardians must always accompany children to the toilets
- Shoes must be worn when visiting the toilet

- This area is for children up to 2 years of age only

- Do not stand, climb, run, walk, or stop midway down on the slides
- Do not play in front of or at the bottom of the slides
- Once you have reached the bottom move away from the slide
Top of drop slide
- Only one person at any time
- Allow time for the person in front to moved away from the bottom of the slide before descending
- When descending the slides do so in a sitting position with arms crossed
- Do not stand, climb, run, walk, or stop midway down on the slides
- Do not play in front of or at the bottom of the slides
- Once you have reached the bottom move away from the slide
Top of tube slide
- Only one person at any time
- Allow time for the person in front to moved away from the bottom of the slide before descending
- When descending the slides do so with arms crossed in front of you
- Do not stand, climb, run, walk, or stop midway down on the slides
- Do not play in front of or at the bottom of the slides
- Once you have reached the bottom move away from the slide
